Igbajo now serves both sides of community events: volunteers discovering open roles, and organisers running events with clear attendance and accountability.

Volunteer-first discovery, with organiser tools built in.

We had to compensate people based on who said what. No records. No receipts. Just trust.

— Event organiser, TRA 2024

No proof of attendance

People said they were there. You couldn't verify it. The argument started before the debrief ended.

No record of who did what

Tasks were assigned on WhatsApp. Completed on faith. Your best volunteers looked the same as your absent ones on paper.

Every event starts from scratch

Who were your best volunteers last year? You don't know. That knowledge left with the WhatsApp group.

Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know

Yes — you can create an organisation, run events, and manage volunteers at no cost. We built this for community organizer, not corporations.

No passwords needed. Volunteers sign in with a one-time code sent to their email — the same address they used when they applied. The link in their welcome email takes them straight to their portal.

Absolutely. The platform works for any community gathering — tech conferences, women's summits, award nights, panels, workshops. Teams, roles, and stages are fully configurable per event.

Every approved volunteer gets a unique QR code in their portal. On event day, your team leads open the scanner page on their phones and scan each volunteer as they arrive. The system logs the time, stage, and team automatically. No printed lists, no arguments.

They can visit your organisation's portal link directly (igbajo-owo.com/portal/your-org/login) and request a new code. As the organiser, you can also check their notification history in the admin panel and resend manually.

Yes. Volunteer profiles are stored globally within your organisation. When you run your next event, their history, skills, and tags carry over automatically. Your best volunteers are remembered.

Virtual volunteers work remotely before the event — content creation, social media, coordination. Physical volunteers show up on the day — registration, logistics, AV, guest experience. Some volunteers do both. Igbajo handles both stages with separate tasks, timelines, and emails.

Yes. As the org owner you can invite Event Admins and Team Leads via a link. Each person only sees what their role allows — team leads see only their team, event admins see their assigned events.
